This conversion used a pristine, and I mean PRISTINE, Proline as a donor box. As I was removing the old wiring, I almost cried. The unique feature of this conversion was the custom right side panel that allowed the mechanicals to be mounted to the right side panel, instead of the main case. The case back can be removed without removing the custom panel making an interconnect unnecessary. The owner, Bob Gordon, explained the radio belonged to his late cousin and that he would be elated with the conversion.
